| Band Info/Notes: | New Brunswick's first lady of the blues, brings her own energetic mix of blues and R&B to the Halifax stage. At the age of fourteen, Theresa made her singing debut at a high school variety show. Reaching deep into her soul she sang with such feeling and emotion that the unsuspecting audience went absolutely wild. A few years later, and still underage, Theresa stole quietly into a local bar and asked to sing with the great Dutch Mason - she then brought the house down! Theresa has released several excellent albums, incl uding "Eye of the Hurricane" and "Little Girl Blue", featuring many of the top songwriters and musicians from the Maritimes. She has been a crowd favorite throughout the Atlantic region and has also toured extensively in Europe doing what she does best - belting out the blues! Often compared to Janis Joplin, Theresa sings with a powerful but precise and expressive style that makes every song her own.
